Not much more to tell you today than I had yesterday. I didn't even have lunch with anyone today. I did go to a movie last night, and that's what took up the bulk of my evening -- I saw an advanced screening of a movie called Okja, by the same Korean director who did The Host and Snowpiercer. This one was similarly weird, albeit with a surprising amount more cuteness. I wish I could have gone with someone, but I had only one spare pass and Evan, in the unlikely event she was even available, would want to go with Elden; and Laney had plans. I'm almost certain Shobhit would have really enjoyed it, actually, but he had to work all evening. So, I just went by myself.

I biked home from work, was home just long enough to make myself a veggie hot dog for dinner and feed the cats, and then I took the #8 bus down Denny to SIFF Cinema's Uptown Theatre on Lower Queen Anne. I could have ridden my bike, as it would barely have been light out late enough for me to ride home without it being dark yet, but I decided it best to bus so I could read my overdue library book that I can't renew because there are other holds on it.

I bussed back home from the movie, reading along the way, and it was just about dark by the time I got back to the condo. There wasn’t time to write the review last night, which was why it got posted this morning. I was in bed soon after getting home. Shobhit got home from work only a few minutes before I fell asleep.

And that's about it, really. There's nothing else to update you on, except that this is the official Pride Weekend and it's therefore going to be a busy one for me. I'll be going to Trans Pride Seattle after work today, perhaps by myself -- Shobhit works all evening again, even a bit later than he did last night; Laney overdid it with a bike ride last weekend and therefore doesn't feel up to the mobility that would be needed to join me -- she's not even sure if she can go to the parade on Sunday. Gabriel has come the past couple of years, but I don't know what his plans are tonight; I have not heard anything from him since the dinner party at the end of my Birth Week. I'm still hoping I'll see him, and Tess, there tonight. But I guess we'll see.

Tomorrow is the Capitol Hill Pride Festival, now put on by new organizers, which is a relief. Shobhit has two different work shifts tomorrow too so he won't be joining me for that; I may get together with Evan and Elden, I'm not sure. Shobhit has only a morning shift on Sunday so he should be able to come and join me while the parade is already well underway.

PCC is marching in the parade and apparently at last count had only about three people participating, and they put out a call for others to join. I thought about it; I haven't actually marched in years. But, not knowing who I'll be with, I figure it best to be a spectator still. The biggest concern right now is the weather forecast -- 86° tomorrow and 90° on Saturday. I will definitely have to remember to put on sunscreen both days.
