Total days in the winter with in-person social interaction: 48 (52.1%, a -6.1 percentage point change from fall)

Some notable shakeups in the rankings this time around. Shobhit is #1, as we all knew he would be, his first full quarter after moving back home from Los Angeles. As you can see he beat Laney for the top spot by a hair -- I mean, by 28 points! I mean, shit. Does he really need to obsess over padding his numbers here? Granted, his 37 points here are still two shy of the 39 he had the last full quarter (winter 2010) before he first moved away to New York, in March 2010. But this is still a truly skyrocketed increase after ranking #2 a few times, and even after still being #1 most of the time in spite of living apart.

For Laney's part, even retaining the #2 spot, her point numbers are way down -- from 19 to 9! At this rate, and with Ivan's significant increase, she could get beaten by Ivan in the future! And as fond as I am of Ivan, I actually don't want that. Laney outranks him!

Not that I mind Ivan's rise, which I know to be temporary (albeit one likely to last a couple of years). His huge leap to an unprecedented #3 in the rankings (last quarter he was #6) is only a moderate increase by another metric: 7 points this time around versus 5 last time -- although both of these were also records, in each case reflective of him now being a roommate who, unlike any previous roommate (including himself the first time around, in 2014), does a lot of socializing with me. That's itself less of a surprise, though, given that we socialized more during the period he did not live with me, making him, once he moved in again, my first roommate with a previously established friendship. This #3 ranking was also helped by other friends pulling back a bit during the winter months: Evan and Jessica both spent less time with me this quarter than they did the previous.

I spent a bit more time than usual with Danielle, actually, which put her at the #4 position. The same goes for Dad, Sherri, and Gina, all of whom I spent time with on three different days, and that alone put them all in the top 10. (The same would have been done with Evan, except that they tied for points, but I ranked Evan one position higher in the #10 spot because I've known her better for a longer period of time, which is one way I use to decide ranking positions for people with the same number of points.)

Karen's position at #5 is relatively standard, actually. Sometimes she's higher, sometimes not. My time with her, with the usual two lunches per month, remains pretty consistent. The same cannot be said, unfortunately, of Shauna -- who, for the first time in years, drops off the list completely! Why? Because Shobhit is home, and I no longer need her to take me grocery shopping. I've emailed her a couple of times about getting together again because it's been too long, but we just haven't touched base again. I intend to make sure that happens for my Birth Week if nothing else, so she'll get back on the list for the Spring Social Review.

With all that said, how about we get to the who did what with whom where and when . . .
