Not much to report on today, as is often the case on Tuesdays, after I spend Monday sharing what all I did over the weekend. And then on Monday evening? Well, actually, I did go out, sort of -- two three different grocery stores for supplemental grocery shopping, which only happens because of Shobhit's obsession with saving money and taking advantage of deals.

I walked home from work, and then we drove to the Asian grocery store down in the International District where the lady who works the register recognizes us both now. Oodles of produce for something like $24. Then, to Safeway, where we bought so many of the vine tomatoes and bell peppers on a ridiculously deep discount that a regular cost of again somewhere around twenty bucks (give or take a few bucks, I can't remember the exact number) still came to a total of less than seven dollars. That right there was probably the largest percentage savings I've ever had at a grocery store, without the use of an employee discount. After that we went to Trader Joe's for like three things.

We finally got back home, and TV was watched: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, GIRLS, Crashing. We worked a little on the latest New York Times crossword puzzle.

I had one more of the many containers of leftover tortellini soup for lunch today, same as I did yesterday, and I loved it just as much today. I'm digging my lunches this week. I'll get sick of that specific dish soon enough I suppose. I have a lunch scheduled with Karen on Thursday this week, though. And I also made plans to have drinks with Mimi after work on Thursday next week. My Birth Week is the week after that! I've already got some of it scheduled, and as always, will have to schedule some of it last-minute due to the nature of the friends I want to see. Both Tommy and Ivan may be challenges, I'm not quite sure yet. Gabriel feels kind of up in the air; I've deliberately given him some space the past few months due to a calamitous event in his life, resulting in my seeing him just once since New Year's Day. My Birth Week may be when I start pestering him more though. I mean, it will be. So brace yourself!

That's all I've got today, I guess. I have no pressing observations regarding the outright idiocy filling out all the leadership positions at the White House that you haven't likely heard already.
